York Barbell 32 mm barbell filled a niche for me. I wanted a squat barbell without center knurl and took up less space. York Barbell is only 86 inches. Rogue Squat Barbell is 94.5 inches and Texas Squat Barbell is 96.5 inches. Moreover, both these barbells have center knurl. York Barbell has good hard chrome sleeves, collars, and knurl, but their center knurl-less chrome plating has two chips in it. I have two barbells that cost more and they are superior with no chipping. However, inexpensive barbells like Body Solid 7 foot Basic Barbell Black and Titan Fitness Midway Power Barbell are superior in plating to York Barbell. I solved the chipped chrome plating by wrapping it up in Gorilla tape.

I bought the 5' 25lb bar for home gym. It functions as it should except the black-oxide part of the bar was covered in oil and came with noticeable scratches next to kurling. For the price point and not being a Rogue bar I guess I can't be too disappointed but it was definitely a let-down to require such a deep clean right out of the box.

This is almost a perfect bench press bar in the 30 or 32mm model. Big fat grip, not a lot of spin, and not a whole lot of flex. The one thing I would change is put some deeper knurling on it.

I bought one of the 6 ft bars as a solution to a tight space. That was five years ago. It has seen uses for everything from Squats and Bench to Heavy Curls and Rows. It is still straight, solid and has been maintenance free. 30mm grip is a little large from full Olympic Style lifts, but you cannot go wrong for price and durability

I bought the 30mm bar from another company before I discover Rogue. IMO, its a great bar for the powerlifts like the squat and press. But I have small hands, and didn't like it for deadlifts. The Rogue Beater bar was better deadlifts and the speed lifts. My partner and I love this bar for squats.
