Strength is great, but strength with mobility is better. You've got to be able to move well in order to enjoy life to the fullest. This means maintaining a baseline level of flexibility but it also extends to things like joint health and proper rehabilitation from injury. Healthy functioning of joints and tissues, plus full range of motion for all muscles and limbs is important for long term health.
